LATI MakerSpace
Besides my off campus job, I work at the makerspace at LATI twice a week. Work study is a great way for students to make some money and not have to leave school. i was recently fortunate enough to get the position I wanted since the fall semester. I get to work at the MakerSpace! what is the MakerSpace you may be wondering. Well, it is a place that students can go to be creative and make almost anything you can think of. the MakerSpace offers a wide variety of machines you can use to make things, including cricuts, 3D printers, sewing machines, a laminater, an embroidery machine, and much more! Did I mention it was all free to use for LATI students! All of the machinery and materials are supplied by Lake Area to foster innovation in their students.
